Hi! My name is Deborah but you can call me Deb. Everyone else does 🙂
At the moment my life is in transition. My husband and I are moving from Michigan to Alabama! Yep… that’s right folks, no more snow for this girl!
Our family moved from Ohio to Michigan (I know…. God has a sense of humor. Go Bucks!) about 15 years ago with our two kids that were in high school. Now, 15 years later, our kids are grown and brought their better halfs into our family and we have 6 grandbabies! <3. We are going to be missing them but we get to be with my parents (I am a spoiled only child and we chat everyday).
The way God has opened the doors for this to happen are amazing….. but that is for another time. I am here to introduce myself. Sorry, I do get sidetracked.
So, I am fifty some years young and looking at the next part of my exciting life. My husband and I are excited for our new yard because we love gardening. Yep, I will blog about that as well!
We have been very active in our church here in Michigan and looking forward to what God has in store for Alabama. Between worship team, media, teaching and preaching, Culture Impact Team, and Right to Life, we have kept pretty busy.
Another hobby of mine is journaling! I love sitting down with a blank notebook or a new digital notebook and going to town. The hours just seem to slip away when I am in my own little world doing that. Not sure why that is. You will most likely benefit from that with some of my pages being posted if you like that sort of thing. 🙂
I am pretty laid back and chill most of the time. I love life and know that I don’t have to worry as long as I leave it in God’s hands. My Daddy is always saying, “I trust You Jesus.” and I do too!
Outside of all this going on I have been a trainer at a large corporation and loving it! The team that I have been on has been one of the best I have ever worked with. I told my manager today that I am so glad I have been a part of that group. I have grown in my skill set so much over the last two years. I am going to miss them. But, I am going to a pretty awesome team as well and can use what I have learned and I also get to work with those that I have trained. So, I guess you could say that I am still training but I get to engage them as well and continue to help them grow! My career is exciting and I get to keep my job and work from home!!! No distance when the internet is involved!
So, hang around errr come back and check, you never know what is going to pop up here! See ya on the south side! Now I have to go pack more boxes….. someone wanna come and help with that? ….. yeah, me either.
Love this! Can’t wait to read more and to go on this journey with you.

You will always be a trainer. I tried to get away from it so many times. No matter what happened, I would always end up training again – formally or informally. Teachers are born not made. A friend of mine says that teachers are chosen, and we can’t get away from it. It’s been true for me.

Thank you Sharon! You definitely are a trainer and you create an environment for your trainer to grow in! Thank you!!!
