I Still Do!

Seasons

If you can read this, you know that we all go through different seasons in our lives. Some seasons are amazingly great, others are a struggle, some feel like you are just existing and doing the day to day things.

Right now, we are going through one that I didn’t think we would be. We have been living apart for a little while (longer than we would like). I moved down here to Alabama in July while my honey stayed behind in Michigan to get the building we own ready to sell.

We both thought by now that we would be back together. We’re not yet. We are believing that God has this and He had the buyer for that building and they are on their way. It is the learning to trust and watch your words in the process (not giving satan a foothold). Learning not to get down but encourage yourself in the Lord. Knowing that He has this. Learning that FaceTime is great!

You see, this season has been difficult but we are finding joy in the journey. While we are apart, our relationship with Father is getting stronger. There is just something that happens to a wife’s heart when she is talking to her husband and he starts to play the keyboard, then worship starts and the Spirit falls. Even in them being in different locations, they are still one. Her heart is strengthened and her faith made strong once again and she falls deeper in love with her man because they are both falling deeper in love with their Lord.

Sometimes in the day to day, we take for granted being with the one we chose to spend our life with. We take for granted all that the Father has done. We get overwhelmed with life or we are just letting it pass us by and not really living it.

Today, I want to challenge you. Find something in your relationships to be thankful for. Find something around you to be thankful for. Be grateful that Christ came to give you hope in your future! (Jeremiah 29:11)

It is too easy to get stuck in your pity party and woe is me and dwell in the land of negative. Christ came to give you life! Life more abundant! Why live and dwell in the negative when there is so much more! There is hope!

Psalm 138:7-8 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand will save me.

The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy and loving-kindness, O Lord, endure forever—forsake not the works of Your own hands.

We can be sure that what ever we are facing, He is there with us. He will get us through as long as we let Him lead. He will perfect us and the plans He has for us and He will not forsake us because we are the works of His hands!

So, whatever you are facing. It is not permanent. Don’t park in your situation, let God move you through it.

Philippians 4:13 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)

13 I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who [a]infuses inner strength into me; I am [b]self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].

He is #finallyhomeinbama !

He made it in on December 22, 2019. On December 24th we had received over 5 inches of rain. Unknown to us, there was a crack in the lid of our septic tank. The tank filled up and backed up into our two bathrooms, bedroom and hall way. On the upside, we are in the beginning stages of remodel. Due to the part of the hall floor being connected to the living room, dining room and kitchen, we get new flooring through most of the house. ( I will take pics through the process)

He is also in the beginning stages of starting his construction company. (If you live around Southside, AL and need a good one, let me know!) He has been busy since he has gotten here so for that we are thankful!
